Color Battle Fundraiser

On Tuesday, March 6th, we kick-off our 1st Annual Color Battle Fundraiser. Funds raised this year will be used to pay for TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES, AND TEACHER GRANTS! Students will be challenged to get donations starting Tuesday, Mar. 6th ֠Friday, Mar. 23rd from family and friends to help our school. WeҬl end the 2-week fundraiser with a celebratory event called the Color Battle for students who participate in the fundraiser (think lots of color powder, games, participant t-shirts, music, high energy, and FUN!). And WE NEED YOUR HELP! How the Color Battle fundraiser works: 1. Login at Anython.com - Students will receive their own unique access code at school on Tuesday, Mar. 6. 2. Help connect your students to potential donors - Use the Share Wizard on your students Anython.com donation page to share it through email, text, Facebook and Twitter and donors can enter and pay their donations online. 3. Or send cash/checks to school ֠Make all checks payable to Running Brushy MS PTA. 4. Students must raise a minimum of $30 in total donations in order to participate in the Color Battle event on Friday, Mar. 23rd. 5. Students earn individual prizes for funds raised at different increments, as well as an event t-shirt and color powder packets to use at the event. 6. All donations must be paid online, or cash/checks turned into the school by 10:00am on Friday, Mar. 23rd to participate in the Color Battle event.

Disclaimer/Release of Liability: The Color Battle activities will involve running and other forms of exercise that may be physically exerting. Students will also be dusted with color powder. If your child has preexisting conditions such as heart conditions, allergies, asthma, immune disorders, susceptibility to bleeding or broken bones, or other illnesses or conditions that require limited physical exertion, please consult with your doctor before allowing your child to participate.

Color Powder: The color powder used during the Color Battle is non-toxic and biodegradable. All materials are FD&C grade, made from cornstarch and food-safe coloring. Color powder may stain clothing. If your child is participating, please have them wear old shoes and pants that are ok if they get stained and bring a change of clothing for after the event.

If parents or guardians allow their student to participate, you are representing and warranting that your child is healthy enough to participate safely in the activities and you agree to hold Anython and Running Brushy Middle School and PTA harmless for any possible accident or injury. You are also agreeing that you are assuming all responsibility for your child’s clothing and shoes during the activity.
